Ingredients

200g minced chicken/beef

100g onion, finely chopped

20g breadcrumbs

1 tsp freshly grated ginger

1 Tbsp vegetable oil

Oil for frying
Method

Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a small pan, add the onion and cook over a medium heat until just softened. Cool a little, then add the minced chicken with the Hoisin Sauce, breadcrumbs and ginger. Mix well, then shape into balls and set aside.

Heat enough oil to deep-fry and when hot, carefully lower chicken balls into the oil and cook until golden and crisp.

Serve with extra Hoisin Sauce.
